Nikobuchi deep water is a blue waterfall basin which became the stage for a legend about a beautiful girl and a monster serpent. Nobuyuki Takahashi, a nature photographer who named the waterfall basin Niyodo Blue, described the blue as only being expressable as "Niyodo Blue." When the sun shines through trees, the water surface sparkles beautifully like a gem.
