Mori no-Chiisana Okashiyasan (a small cake shop in the forest) and Restaurant Hachikinya in Roadside Station Musasabi no Sato are particular about ingredients from the Gohoku district and the taste of mother’s home cooking. The meals they offer such as the local specialty udon noodles with Japanese mitten crab is popular among people from outside of Kochi Prefecture. Yakitori over a charcoal fire and skewered pork back ribs, which are served on Saturdays and Sundays, are also popular, becoming favorites among touring riders.
