Located in a building that formerly housed a paper wholesaler’s store in the Taisho Era (1912-1926), Soryusha makes and sells papier-mâché made using ganpishi paper (Tosa washi paper) made in Ino Town that enables smooth brushing, Tosa plaster, and paint in which the plaster is mingled with pigments. A papier-mâché Japanese zodiac that Soryusha makes every year was selected for a zodiac stamp released by Japan Post Co.
