The local people began calling the wonderfully beautiful color of the water “Niyodo Blue,” and the term has come to be recognized by many people. The typical Niyodo Blue spot is located deep in the mountains, but its popularity is increasing year by year.

How to get to Nikobuchi?
To get to Nikobuchi, it is recommended to use a private car, a rental car, or a taxi.
By taxi, it takes about 70 minutes from Kochi City and 50 minutes from Ino Station. Since driving by meter is expensive, it is recommended to use “sightseeing taxi- tours,” which offer a fixed time charter rate. If you wish to use this service, a reservation application is required at least 5 days prior to the date of use.

There are 5 parking lots near Nikobuchi. There are signs at the site. There is no charge. Please refrain from parking on the street, as it is very dangerous.

Recommended neighboring place to visit No. 2: Roadside Station Musasabi no Sato / Roadside Station Konoka
Here, we will introduce two roadside stations around Niko Buchi deep water.
The first one is Roadside Station Musasabi no Sato, which offers popular local fresh vegetables.
It contains Restaurant Hachikinya, which serves tasty local dishes, and Mori no-Chiisana Okashiyasan, which offers desserts. It is situated in a good location about 15 minutes’ drive south from Niko Buchi deep water.

The second one is Roadside Station Konoka, which is about 30 minutes’ drive north from Niko Buchi deep water.
The natural landscape of the beautiful Yoshino River and majestic mountains opens out in front of you.
