You will take a sightseeing taxi to Nikobuchi, a Niyodo Blue Spot on the Niyodo River, a miraculous clear stream that has become popular in recent years not only among Japanese but also among foreigners.
Visitors will also tour a handmade washi studio that has been in operation for four generations since the Meiji era (1868-1912), and enjoy making tapestries while experiencing Tosa washi handmade by hand.

Niyodo Blue Spot “Nikobuchi”

Nikobuchi, which changes its expression depending on the amount and angle of light, is a waterfall basin with a legend of a giant snake that has been carefully protected by the local people. It is so beautiful that one forgets about time and gazes at it in silence.

It is a popular fresh restaurant frequented by locals. During the skipjack fishing season (scheduled from April to November), you can watch skipjack being grilled on a straw grill right in front of you. Only a fresh fish restaurant can offer fresh bonito caught that day and a seafood lunch.

You will visit a handmade washi workshop that has been in continuous operation for four generations since the Meiji era, and enjoy the experience of making Tosa washi paper by hand.
