To reach Mt. Otawo, first you need to walk for about 1 km from Hijiri Shrine to Kobiura Fureai Square, then go up a narrow forest road from the square entrance for about 3 km. There are two new and old handmade observatories made in cooperation with the surrounding land owners, enabling visitors to look out over the sea off the coast of Suzaki.
