Shuzo no Michi is a streetscape of sake breweries that conveys the atmosphere of the period of domain duties. The Uemachi district located in the central part of Sakawa Town prospered as a castle town and was resided mainly by merchants. The atmosphere has been maintained down to the present, and traditional merchant houses and sake breweries create the streetscape. In winter, the aroma of new sake wafts from Tsukasabotan Breweries that inherits the traditions of the time.
