The Former Hamaguchi family’s residence, registered as a national tangible cultural property, is a residence which was owned by the Hamaguchi family that had run a sake brewery in Sakawa since the middle of the Edo Period (1603-1868). After renovation in 2013, the residence was changed into a facility that welcomes tourists. It also contains the tourist association of Sakawa, café, and resting space.
